Do I still have headlice or am I just paranoid?

A little over 2 weeks ago, I used lice treatment and got rid of my lice. my mom never combed out my nits though, but I spent an hour or two sitting in front of my mirror picking out a lot. I hung out with my boyfriend today and I'm just really paranoid that I still have them because I'm scared I might give him lice :c I still pick out nits every now and then, there isn't really any left. and when I think about it, I start getting itchy, but any other time I'm fine. Ah, help. :c
